  • To personalize learning experiences and track progress

  • To send service-related notifications

We never sell personal data to third parties. Aggregated, non-identifiable data may be used to improve our services.

3. Data Sharing

We may share data with:

  • Service providers (e.g., payment processing, analytics, support)
  • Educational institutions that provided user access
  • Authorities, if legally required

All third-party services are bound by data protection obligations.

Cookies and browser storage

We use the following cookies and browser storage on Timbles:

  • Essential sign-in cookie: timbles.sid keeps you signed in and supports secure sessions. It is necessary for the site to work and has a rolling expiry of up to 30 days.
  • Payments: Stripe uses cookies and similar technology on payment pages for secure payment processing and fraud prevention.
  • Browser storage: localStorage and sessionStorage remember your cookie choice, preferences (such as theme and sound), and learning progress or temporary results. These are stored on your device.
  • Optional analytics: Google Analytics (G-164J8F33X0) and Microsoft Clarity load only after you click Accept. They help us understand site usage and improve Timbles. Google Analytics uses cookies such as _ga and _ga_*; Clarity uses cookies such as _clck and _clsk and may analyse interactions and session recordings. These services may process browser/device information and usage identifiers; this is not a guarantee that all data is fully anonymous. Advertising consent remains denied.

You can Reject optional analytics and still use Timbles. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using Cookie settings at the bottom of every page. Withdrawal stops analytics, deletes accessible Google Analytics and Clarity cookies on this site, and reloads the page to stop previously loaded tracking code. It does not remove data already sent while you had consented.

Your choice is remembered in localStorage for later visits. If you clear browser storage, we will ask again. Cookies belonging to another domain must be managed through your browser’s cookie controls.

5. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access and update your data
  • Request data deletion
  • Object to data processing
  • Request data portability

Requests can be made via our support portal.
